Set Of Five (5) Antique Russian Silver Filigree Podstakannik Tea Glass Holders
Beautiful set of five Russian tea glass holders, also known as podstakannik, made with silver-tone metal filigree. Feature delicate swirling openwork and window cutouts. Appear to be silver plate or a lower grade silver. They are in vintage condition and show some signs of age/use, including tarnish, surface scratches, and dents (particularly to the bottom rims of some holders) - please see photos.
Each holder measures approximately 3.75"h at handle, 2.75"in diameter at rim, and weighs approximately 100gms/3.5oz. Stamped on the bottom 7-10, the Cyrillic ", " and an unidentified hallmark. Each holder is also stamped on the bottom with a number, varying from piece to piece - please see pictures.
