A Rare Quality George VI Hallmarked Sterling Silver 4 Piece Tea Set by E. The Teapot is 10 1/2" handle to spout 6" in Height with a width of 4 3/4 and a weight of 20.8 oz or 590 grams. The Coffee Pot is 8 3/8" in height with a length handle to spout of 7 3/4" with a width to the body of 4 3/8 and a weight of 22.2 oz or 630 grams.

The Sugar Bowl is 7" handle to handle 3 1/2" in height and has a width of 4 and a weight of 7.5 oz or 212 grams. The Cream Jug is 5 1/2" handle to spout 3 5/8" in height and has a width of 3 with a weight of 5.7 oz or 162 grams.

Total Weight of the Set is 56.2 oz or 1,594 grams. The Tea Set has a superb octagonal faceted design with each piece sitting on 4 shaped hoofed feet with raised mounts to the body giving the set a pleasing Art Deco shape with the teapot and coffee pot having an excellent angular "C" shaped handles with raised thumb pieces and excellent spouts with hinged domed lids again finished with a octagonal faceted design with excellent shaped finial's with the sugar bowl and cream jug having matching "C" shaped handles and faceted design (see photo's). The Tea Set is free of any Initials or Monograms (see photo's). The Set is in Excellent Condition (see photo's). Town Mark - Crown - Sheffield.
