RARE Art Deco Signed Bavarian Seltmann Silver Overlay Tea Set-Turquoise

  

Very unusual to find this many pieces in such beautiful condition. The footed bottoms on all of the cups, sugar, creamer, coffee and teapot are a solid silver scallop. Well made heavy porcelain pieces that I just polished and they are fabulous. Heavy silver overlay in a deep turquoise porcelain on the outside and all pieces are a white porcelain inside. All of the pieces are signed with green script lettering and a crown and it says "Marie Luise Seltmann Weiden Bavaria".

Here is the detailed description. The tall coffee server is large and 10.5 tall with the scrolled handle, teardrop finial and all silver pouring spout. It is scalloped around the top edge and the lid is all silver as well. This piece looks unused and is mint!

The bulbous shaped teapot I believe is a 6 cup with the same detail as the coffee pot and it measures 8 tall to the top of the finial. In the last picture you can see it has a very small hairline in the spout that is not through and you have to look really close to see it! The matching cream and sugar set have been used but still in great condition. The large creamer has some crazing on the inside as noted in the 5th picture but hardly noticeable and it doesn't detract at all. The sugar is mint with its double detailed handles and same matching finial.

There are FOUR complete luncheon sets of 3 pieces a cup and saucer with the 8 matching plates. Honestly all of these pieces look unused as well with not a scratch on them.
