Magnificent & rare 5pc antique French hallmarked sterling silver coffee & tea service including a unique 14 tall samovar style 40oz kettle with warmer base, tea pot, side handled verseuse, chocolate or warm milk pot, covered sugar and matching creamer!

Okay, so actually seven pieces if you count the kettle stand and warmer but, you get the ideathis is a HUGE set and as gorgeous as can be! All original and matching with a very Classical French bow & ribbon tied laurel garland pattern or decoration with ram or goats hoof & acanthus feet, carved wood handles and all in fabulous condition! Very French Empire in style. All separate pieces bear French hallmarks, the Minerve or Minerva hallmark with the tiny number 1 in the upper right designating.

950 silver content or better 95% pure silver and higher than the. 925 standard for sterling silver. A stunning ensemble and guaranteed to take your breath away! Rare with the 14 kettle, dont miss this set! There is a repaired break to the wooden handle on the tea pot, where it meets and is mounted to the sterling silver body but its solid and perfectly usable.

A small dimple to the side handled pot but its in the ribbed portion of the body and hard to point out easily so not much of an issue but worth noting. One of the ram or goats hoof feet on the tea pot is also just a bit bent but it stands straight, no wobbling. Total weight on all pieces is 3300 grams or 106 troy ounces.
