JOHN McMULLIN SILVER TEA SET c1810 - EXAMPLES WINTERTHUR MUSEUM. A fine and rare c1810 John McMullin silver oak leaf and acorn tea service. Born 1765 opened shop in 1790 in Philadelphia. Examples in major collection, including the Winterthur, and Museum of Fine Arts. The set in tapering form with streaming acanthus from stem, and scrolling oval center. Oak leaf and acorn and grape and leaf on satin decorative borders. Teapot retains the original petal framed bell crown finial.

And also the original hand carved fruit wood? This c1810 McMullin teapot is 10 inches and the set weighs 53 standard ounces. In very fine condition, teapot interior clean as if never used.
