JAPANESE STERLING TEA SET c1950 SIGNED - 950 PURE. A very fine mid-century Japanese sterling silver 950 pure (sterling is 925) tea service. Raised pear shape with smooth surfaces. Elegant flower head and leaf on satin border to rim. Cover retains the original urn and globe finial. Atop shield and scroll tip feet. The set includes an associated silver sugar scoop. Will post image of marks later. The sterling 950 teapot is 10 1/2 inches and the set 43 standard ounces. Teapot interior clean as if little used.
