INTERNATIONAL SILVERSMITHS STERLING TEA SET c1960 SPRING GLORY A fine mid century International Silversmiths sterling tea service in the firm's Spring Glory pattern. Patented in 1942 in the Art Deco taste, much like Jensen silver of the period. Stout almost egg shape with step rim and rich smooth surface. Multi step almost bee hive cover retains the original Jensen inspired swept leaf framed bowing bell flower finial. Atop conforming vine framed bell flower center scroll tip feet. The teapot is 10 1/2 inches set weighs over 62 standard ounces.
