GORHAM STERLING TEAPOT & STAND 1895 " SPECIAL ORDER DESIGNATION". An important 1895 date mark Gorham sterling silver.

Fluted tea kettle on stand. The set bear's Gorham's Special Order designation. Tapering urn with finger petal fluting.

Cover with swirl fluted flame finial above petal fluting. Fixed handle with the original heat stops. Vine and bead crown wide open mouth spout. Twin wavy vine support stand, securing the original burner.

Stand base with swirl panel fluting, itself. Atop vine frame twin shell center feet. The set was never monogrammed.

This important 1895 Gorham "Special Order" sterling tea kettle on stand. Is 12 inches and weighs 42 standard ounces. Hallmarked as shown, all three parts the kettle. And the original hallmarked burner.
