GORHAM STERLING TEA SET KETTLE & STAND 1918 HAMMERED - 70 OUNCES. A beautifully hand decorated 1918 Gorham sterling silver, partially hand hammered tea kettle and matching stand, retaining its original, hallmarked burner.
A very unique pattern in vintage Gorham tea wares. In tapering urn form with engraved snow flake medallion united by streaming leaf and floral garland. Set against a soft hand hammered background.
Bell shape cover retains the original folded leaf framed bud finial, above conforming medallion and garland. Raised acanthus cap tapering spout. The matching stand with rolled vine twin arm, center heart shape.
The original butterfly door burner sits securely at center. Continuation of the medallion, flower hand hammered background work. This 102 year old Gorham sterling tea kettle on stand is 15 inches tall. And the complete set weighs 70 standard ounces. Interior clean as if never used. Handle secure, retains original heat stops.
