GERMAN SILVER TEAPOT & STAND c1875 SIGNED WEIGHS 58 OZ. A fine and rare mid c1875 German silver Biedermeier tea kettle on stand. Signed for Sackermann & Hessenberg Co, Frankfurt first listed 1845. Without interruption, in the family. Provenance provided to the new owner.
In tapering wide panel fluted melon shape. With bulbous panel fluted rim. The detachable cover with swirl fluted layered bud finial. Leaf collar rosewood (later) center rolled leaf and\.
Center oval medallion swing handle. Atop shield fluted stand, with bother securing pins (unchained). And the original handled bun form burner. Stand atop shield cap lion paw and bun feet.
This c1875 German signed Biedermeier tea kettle on. Stand is 14 inches and weighs 58 1/2 standard ounces.
Hallmarked as shown, also Loth 13 for. Stubborn tarnish between flutes and rims as shown. Retains the original burner, lacking cover. The handle center and pin finials with later rosewood.
