English Sterling Tea Set Tray C. J. Vander George II Manner
ENGLISH STERLING TEA SET TRAY 1967 C. A very fine mid century hand decorated English sterling silver tray for serving afternoon tea. Vander, the firm known for fine re-creations of antique designs. The tray in classic oval form with fluted shelf corners. Hand decorated leaf and vine framed twin shell displays with garden trellis panel.
Alternating with smaller shell and flowing vine. Upswing handles retain the original turned wood inserts framed in stepped globe crown finials. Barely noted surface wear, clearly used very. Very carefully the last 50 years.
This British sterling Georgian inspired tea tray 26 1/2 inches across handles. And 18 across and weighs 115 standard ounces (less the wood insert handles). The item "English Sterling Tea Set Tray C.
