ENGLISH STERLING TEA SET 1955 ADIE BROS. A very fine mid-century British tea service in the Georgian manner, hand decorated.
From the Birmingham shop of the Adie Bros, in 1955. In classic slender oval form with reeded base and rim. Hand decorated shell crown oval medallion, never monogrammed, united by. Star burst medallion, bell flower and streaming vine. Bright cut engraved shell and partial sun border. Set retains the original leaf framed pineapple and sterling bell cap finials. Ruffled leaf crown spout and original double scroll composite handle. This Georgian style teapot 10 1/2 inches and the set 56 standard ounces. Retains original detail, mild surface wear and.
