ENGLISH STERLING TEA KETTLE & STAND 1889 MARTIN & HALL This is a uniquely designed and beautifully hand decorated, late Victorian sterling silver tea kettle on matching stand. Retaining the original chained securing pins and the original hallmarked burner. The tea kettle displays slender panel fluting below, and artistic bright cut engraved leaf and floral. Beaded trim and fixed overhead handle with original raffia to center to dissipate heat. Matching stand with corresponding beaded trim features lion masks with satin chasing within swirling vine reticulated panel.

This fine 1889 Martin & Hall sterling tea kettle on stand is 13 1/2 inches tall. And the complete set weighs 64 standard ounces. Tea kettle interior clean as if little used.

Retains original hand carved detail. Original raffia wrapping to handle in fine state.
