ENGLISH STERLING TEA SET 1860 GOTHIC REVIVAL - 57 OUNCES A very fine, 1860 British sterling silver nesting bird tea service. In the Gothic Revival manner.
Family crest, nicely engraved, a lion presenting cross. Successors to Thomas Wallis, first listed 1756, under whom both served as apprentices. This 1860 British sterling nesting bird teapot is 10 1/2 inches handle.
To spout and just under 9 inches tall. And the set weighs 57 standard ounces. Few tiny bumps, mostly lower body.
