Here is an early 20th century art nouveau tea set with grapes by Oscar Schlegelmilch, brother of the RS Prussia maker, Reinhold Schlegelmilch. His company mark on each piece says St. Killian Germany and his initials, O and S are on either side of an oval with a figure inside.
Theres also an L at the top. Every handle is a double twig. Relief gold art nouveau flourishes are just under all the gold rims. Theres panels of color and scrolling decoration between them. Each piece has grapes on two sides. The lids have organic open finials. Hold the china up to a light and it is translucent, making for additional effects. And it is in excellent condition. There is no damage except underneath the teapot lid, the tiny projection that you place under the teapot rim has a small chip or flake. The rest of the set, all 9 pieces, have no chips, nicks, cracks, or scratching. I see a micro ding near the base of the teapot. You might find another micro rub or two. On one saucer you see a tiny white oval in the color. They just didnt paint it well there.
The teapot is 6 3/4 tall with the lid. The creamer is 4 1/8. The sugar bowl is 4 1/2 across the handles. The teacups have 3 openings.
