For your consideration is a lovely Vintage Sterling Silver 4-piece coffee (tea) set in the FAIRFAX pattern made by the William Durgin Silver Company. The Fairfax pattern of flatware was issued in 1910. The design features an elongated octagonal shape with an engraved monogram K.

The handles have heat spacers and all handles have tight joints. This set is also hallmarked for the Retailer "Made for Bailey Banks and Bittle Co". All Durgin silver is excellent quality and is highly desired. The set has a combined weight of 810 grams for the Sterling 3 pc.

Also comes with the Original Bailey Banks and Bittle Anti-Tarnish Cloth bags for Coffee, Creamer & Sugar. Is Silver plate but complements the set very well, also hallmarked Bailey Banks & Bittle Co. Set consists of all Matching Pat# 040 except tray. (1) Coffee pot (Hallmarked 1 3/4 Pints) - measures 7 1/4" high (at handle), 7 3/4" high (spout to handle) and 3 deep. (2) Sugar - measures 2-7/8 in.

High (at handle), 6 inch wide (handle to handle). Solid Sterling Silver, Gilted interior.. (3) Creamer (Hallmarked 1/2 Pint) - measures 2-7/8 inch high (at handle), 5-1/2 inch wide (spout to handle). (4) Tray hallmarked Bailey, Banks & Bittle Co. & (0682-17in) - This is 16-3/4 inch long (handle to handle) and 9-1/2 in ch wide.

Each piece of this nice set is in very good to excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws and reflecting only minor signs of normal wear. There are faint scratches on the tray from normal use.
