Offering a beautiful 5 piece tea set. On the bottom of each is marked Sanborns Mexico Sterling with a perched owl and a 1. This beautiful set has a wonderful floral cover on 3 of the pieces, the tea pot, the coffee pot &covered sugar. The set is in magnificent condition. The hinge on each of the covers works perfectly.
The set is stunning and the overall look magnificent. There is only one area that I can find some damage & that is in the body of the covered sugar. On one side there are 4 small dents. The damage is not easily seen because of the waved pattern of the silver.
The sugar is not warped or bent and still sits firmly plus the cover & hinge sit firmly. The total weight is 3275 grams (115.2 ounces) See full description for details.

All of the handles are secure and have no movement. The handles of the tea pot and coffee pot have insets as is typical of many antique sterling sets. It is a stunning set. Coffee pot, 10 h x 9.5 w / Weight 1125 grams(39.8 ounces). Tea pot, 8.5" h x 11" w?
