Antique 3-Piece Sterling Silver Tea Set, Reeded Decoration, Hallmarked 1891
Antique 3-piece sterling silver tea set , comprising teapot, milk jug, sugar bowl. Each piece is fully hallmarked Sheffield 1891, with the maker's mark for Goldsmith's & Silversmith's Co. They are also marked on the base for Mappin Brothers, who were probably the retailer. The teapot has what we believe to be an ebony handle and lid finial. Combined the three pieces weigh approx.
Some knocking and surface wear, some tarnishing. There are some minor dents.
The finial on the lid of the teapot is a little bent. Measurements: 15cm high, 27cm long, 13cm wide (teapot).
