A. G. Schultz Baltimore REPOUSSE Sterling Silver 5-Piece Coffee / Tea Set
Welcome to Antiques & Moore! This listing is for a gorgeous antique Sterling Silver REPOUSSE 5-piece coffee/tea set with beautiful hand chased repousse floral design on the bodies and feet of each piece, c. This lovely coffee or tea service is decorated with an elegant all-over hand chased floral design standing in high relief with elaborate spouts, lids, handles and feet. Each piece is engraved on the base Bessie Wallace Blanton. (1) Coffee Pot - measures 8 1/2" high (to top of handle), 10 1/4" wide (spout to handle) and 6 deep.
(2) Tea Pot - measures 7 1/8" high (to top of handle), 10" wide (spout to handle) and 5 1/2 deep. (3) Lidded Sugar Bowl - measures 5 3/4" high (to top of handle), 7 1/2" wide (handle to handle) and 4 1/2 deep. (4) Creamer - measures 5 1/4" high (at spout), 5 1/2" wide (spout to handle) and 4 deep. (5) Waste - measures 4 1/2" high (to sides), 5 1/2" high (to top of handle), 7 1/4" wide (handle to handle) and 4 3/4" deep.
Combined weight of set is 2890 grams. The stunning antique silver coffee/tea set has beautiful original patina and is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws reflecting only minimal signs of normal wear.
This fabulous coffee/tea set is from the Estate of Dr. Charles and Bessie were married in 1888 and had one son, Charles Armisted Blanton II.
